正确的用法应该是help us,而且宾语补足语只能用不带to的动词不定式。

例如， In 1949， the people along the Yangtze River bank helped the Liberation Army cross the  Yangtze River.这句的意思是，在1949年，长江沿岸的人民协助解放军跨过了长江。
