下午三点的时候王新民来到与共党交接的地点，站长和孝成已经悄悄地守在那里了。王新民被抓了个正着无话可说。共党的人也来了，双方展开了激战。王新民被逼到了死胡同里， 这个时候王新民才知道这个局是孝成设计的。王新民最后还是死在了孝成的枪下。
