当prove作实义动词“证明”时有被动语态；
当prove作系动词“证实是…”时，没有被动语态。
prove
（1）实义动词 ：证明、证实
prove sth （to sb.）：
They hope this new evidence will prove her innocence.他们希望这一新证据能证明她无罪。
Her innocence has been proved.她的清白得到了证实。
（被动语态表示某件事得到了证明）
prove + that/wh-
This just proves what I have been saying for some time.这恰好证实了我长久以来所说的。
He has proved his courage in the battle.他已在这场战斗中证明了自己的勇气。
（2）系动词：后来被发现是；最终显现为
=turn out 无被动结构。
其后可接“(to be)+ adj./prep. -phrase”或介词短语作表语。
The promotion proved to be a turning point in his career.这次的提升最后成了他职业生涯的一个转折点。
Robots haveproved very useful in the handing of hot or dangerous components.机器人在处理一些高温、危险的元件上是很有用的。
