Geda (formerly known as GPL Electronic Design Automation) is a free software suite for Electronic Design Automation (EDA). It offers schematic capture, attribute management, netlisting, analog and mixed-signal circuit simulation, hierarchical layout editor and autorouter, of which the schematic capture, hierarchical layout editor and autorouter are the most widely used. The suite is licensed under the GPLv2 license. It is released as both a command line or graphical application.
