center for后面跟center的目的、用途
比如:they were raising money to build a new center for research。研究中心，for后面说明了center的目的和用途。
center of后面通常跟这个center所属的物体或者目标
比如：The hotel is right in the centre of the village。这个center就是属于village的一部分，of表明关系。
有时候of也可以用于描述这个center所具有的品质和特性
比如a center of great fame，一个非常著名的中心

可以改为of，这里for表明city主要用途、业务、功能，等等，用of表明这个city的特色在于business and industry.
